If an assistant is convinced of his judgment, he dares to make this very clear to Kuipers.
Focus
This one speaks for itself. The team is only focused on that one match.
Openness & Respect
Kuipers comes back to his mistakes and is not afraid to offer his apologies to the players. These are then quickly accepted.
To trust
That is the most of it all. If a mistake is made, Kuipers is held accountable (he is ultimately responsible). But he himself does not see everything: he must and can trust his team. He knows his people and knows that their judgment is correct. This video shows that brilliantly:
Make agile valuable
What can we learn from the above cases? Agile working only really delivers value if the team lives the agile values and makes them their own. And that also makes it fun! The HAN lecturers have been enjoying it a lot more since this year and the ideas that were conceived during the Achmea 'platform weeks' are being realised with love. And Bjorn Kuipers? Maybe he can carefully raise the agile values with the new national coach later?
Nowadays, the internet is full of growth hacking tools and tactics. They give the idea that a good tool is a 'silver bullet' that can bring you a lot of visitors and leads. Growth hacking has therefore acquired a more negative than positive connotation. I am often asked whether it is a sustainable form of marketing. My answer to that is a resounding 'yes'.
Growth hacking is nothing more than applying the Lean Startup method to marketing. Instead of writing a strategic and tactical plan for months and then implementing everything linearly, you test as many assumptions as possible.
By doing lots of experiments and tracking data, you quickly see what works and what doesn’t. The experiments that don’t work are swept aside and the ones that do work can be scaled. Data is your guide. Before you start your experiment, determine what would be a positive outcome for you.
For example, do you want to reduce your cost new zealand number for whatsapp per conversion by 20 percent within 3 months? That is already a nice smart goal to strive for. After a few experiments, you will have a clearer picture of what works and what doesn't work for your company and you will have been able to scale up the working experiments. That way you ensure rapid growth!

What is the Lean Startup method and is it for me?
The Lean Startup method is a technique that has come over from the States and is often used by startups. They often do not have time to write extensive marketing plans, but they do want to achieve results immediately. So they use this method to quickly test what works and what does not, to generate leads and revenues in the short term. Corporates and larger sales-driven SMEs also often work this way. This allows them to work very data-driven and they can see immediately what a certain action has yielded.
Why should a company engage in growth hacking?
Start-ups often don't have the big marketing budgets that corporates do, so they have every interest in doing growth hacking. Because you can already test which channels you should invest in with small budgets and a minimum of time.
