Anyone who has social media should

Post by zihadhosenjm55 »

Anyone who has social media should try to manage their personal brand responsibly. It doesn't matter if you are an executive in a company and need to have the best reputation, if you are an artist and want to stay relevant, or if you are a politician and you are running for office.

And when we are going to create a personal brand and we want to work on it professionally, we have to take it seriously. To do this, it is key to have a clear and defined strategy. Like any strategy, it includes a series of points that start with the initial state – where I am now –, the definition of the objectives – where I want to get to – and the roadmap – how I am going to get there.

Creating a good personal brand requires work and taking it seriously.

To do this, we must answer the following questions, which I divided into three environments: internal, external and contact networks. Take a pen and paper and write down your answers with total sincerity. We don't want to deceive anyone here, least of all ourselves:

Internal:
Who are you? How do you define yourself?
How do you think you are perceived?
What are your personal and professional goals?
Where do you want to go?
What is my value proposition? Why should they choose me? What is my difference?
External:
What is the market demand for the services you offer?
What is the offer like?
What is the size of the market?
Do you know who your (potential) competitors are? List them.
What opportunities and threats do you see in the market?
Networking:
Who are your most important contacts for your business?
How can you increase your network of quality contacts?

Think carefully about what kind of personal brand you want to build
Once you answer that, you'll have a clearer picture and you'll kn vietnam email address ow what you need to do. That's the first part. To put into practice what you've just discovered, you can follow the points I've listed here.

Be consistent. Don't have one opinion online and another in person.
Focus. Don't talk about everything and nothing.
Being professional (and talking about professional life).
It's okay to show the human side.
Generate emotions.
Post regularly
Plan a strategy
You don't have to be on all networks.
In my blog for El Tiempo I go into these 8 points in depth, which are less technical but equally practical. In case you want to read them in 5 minutes.

And on Instagram and LinkedIn I share these tips in pictures, in case you prefer to have a summary and have them more at hand. You can even print them out and carry them in your wallet or purse. Or put them in a picture frame in your office, it's up to you, I'm not going to get involved in that.

Of course I welcome suggestions, comments, contributions and donations. Everything is welcome. Thank you very much for reading!
