Palace thanks the international community for its help to the victims of Odette

MANILA – Malacañang on Wednesday thanked countries and organizations for their support to areas affected by the onslaught of Typhoon Odette.

Acting presidential spokesman, Cabinet Secretary Karlo Nograles, said those countries and organizations have pledged financial and in-kind assistance.

“We are also grateful to our friends in the international community, our partners and our allies for their offers of assistance,” Nograles said during a press briefing at the palace. “These include Australia, Canada, China, the European Union, France, Japan, the United Kingdom, the United States of America, the United Nations and the State of Qatar, between others. “

He said the palace was waiting for more help from other parts of the world.
