One of the main competitors of the American giant in this field is certainly Tesla .
Unlike Waymo, however, Tesla's automatic pilot, called Tesla Autopilot , in fact, works in a very similar way to the systems that airplane pilots use when the conditions are clear: this means that the driver's supervision is still required and that the latter is still responsible.

But what are the characteristics of this Autopilot?

Automatic Transmission ( AutoSteer ): Keeps the vehicle in its current lane and activates automatic cruise control based on traffic.
